Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and Samsung Galaxy 6

Happy to report that the latest release of Android Lollipop 5.1.1 is out for Verizon, and Memory Leak seems to be fixed.

Before the update, I had to restart my Samsung Galaxy edge 6 every 2 hours, or my phone would become so sluggish the keyboard would take 5 seconds to pop up. I am also an app developer, and debugging apps on the Samsung Galaxy edge with Lollipop 5.0.1 was very frustrating.

Now the keyboard is ultra responsive. I am using swiftkey with a snippets plugin called TextPhrases. My apps fly on Lollipop 5.1.1. I had to use my old Samsung Galaxy 3 which was faster. Now my Galaxy edge 6 on Lollipop 5.1.1 leaves my s3 in the dust.

Omg, I actually considered going iOS for my next phone. Looks like I’ll be good for a while.
